Phil began as a electronic technician for the Navy, later becoming one of the first ROV pilots in Australia trained by Hydro Products in the USA.

Phil retired from the Oil and Gas Servicing Industry began Crantech, which became a trusted name in the RIDGID repair industry. Phil’s interest evolved into CranCam, a forward-looking company specialising in underwater camera systems, ROVs, drones, and precision imaging solutions.

At the heart of CranCam is a commitment to quality, reliability, and innovation. Phil’s extensive background in commercial and industrial systems, including collaborations with the Department of Defence and the Department of Fisheries, has built a solid foundation of technical excellence.

Today, Phil continues this legacy through his relationship with specialist manufacturers—bringing fresh ideas, modern technology, and the same dedication to detail that clients have trusted for decades.
